About Sandra

Make-up has been my life-long fascination. When I was little, I used to put red crayon on my lips and blue on my eyes. In middle school, I was sneaking foundation and lipstick from my mom's makeup drawer. By high school, I was perfecting my brows and cat-liner while doing prom makeovers for all my friends. My passion was becoming skill, and I LOVED seeing how thrilled people were with the makeovers I was doing.

My dream was to be an A-list Make-up Artist in Hollywood, do Johnny Depp’s makeup, and then retire! But that hasn't happen yet :-) And maturity has helped tame my goals into becoming a certified Make-up artist and Beauty Consultant...which HAS happened.

I enrolled at M.U.D. in Burbank, California. I wanted to learn more SFX makeup while also receiving the foundational training needed to become a true Make-up Artist. After graduating, I moved on to study skin, hair, cosmetics at WBI Cosmetology School. Even though cosmetology covers a range of skills, makeup was still may passion and focus. My education is ongoing, as I continue attending workshops and seminars, and reading as many books as much as I can.
